Before You Book
BOOKING INFORMATION & POLICIES
At Relaxation Realm, I truly value your time, your business, and the opportunity to provide you with a relaxing and professional experience. In order to respect both my schedule and the schedules of my clients, please take a moment to review the following booking policies.
1. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment whenever possible. Late cancellations and no-shows may affect future booking privileges or require a deposit or prepayment for future services.
2. 15-Minute Grace Period
Please arrive on time and allow enough time for parking, check-in, and required forms. A grace period of up to 15 minutes may be available, but late arrival will not extend your scheduled service end time.
3. Illness, Exposure & Communicable Conditions
If you are experiencing cold, flu, COVID-like, or other contagious symptoms, please reschedule your appointment. This helps protect you, your therapist/aesthetician, and other clients.
4. Health Information, Intake & Informed Consent
Accurate health information helps us determine whether a service is safe and appropriate for you. Please disclose relevant conditions, medications, allergies, pregnancy, injuries, recent procedures, and other contraindications before treatment.
5. Massage & Bodywork Standards
Massage and bodywork services are professional, therapeutic, and strictly nonsexual. Appropriate draping, informed consent, client comfort, and professional boundaries are maintained throughout every session.
6. Facials, Chemical Peels & Cosmetic Services
Facial and cosmetic services are provided only when appropriate for your skin, health, and treatment goals. Chemical peels are not available as a first-time facial service and require consultation, assessment, contraindication review, a treatment plan, and separate informed consent.
7. Minors & Children
Children and unattended guests are not permitted in treatment areas or left unattended in the lobby. A minor may attend when they are the scheduled client and all required consent, supervision, safety, and service requirements are met.
8. Privacy, Records & Communications
Your information is used only as needed for scheduling, payments, safety, service delivery, recordkeeping, and legally required business purposes. Sensitive health and payment information should be submitted only through approved and secure methods.
9. Payment, Pricing, Gratuities & Refunds
Service pricing, applicable deposits, prepayments, taxes, and add-ons will be disclosed before purchase. Gratuities are optional and never required, and completed services are generally nonrefundable.
10. Right to Refuse or End Service
Relaxation Realm may decline, modify, postpone, or end a service when safety, contraindications, consent, conduct, payment, professional judgment, or legal requirements make treatment inappropriate.
11. Accessibility & Reasonable Accommodation
Relaxation Realm is committed to providing respectful and accessible service. If you need a reasonable accommodation, please contact us before your appointment whenever possible so your needs can be discussed.
12. Changes, Severability & Contact
These policies may be revised prospectively as needed. The policy version accepted when an appointment is booked generally applies to that appointment unless a change is required by law or agreed upon by the client.
Policy Updates
Relaxation Realm may revise these policies from time to time. Updated policies will be posted on this page, and the applicable effective or revision date should be displayed clearly.
Acceptance of Terms
By acknowledging these policies and submitting an appointment request, you confirm that you have reviewed and agree to the booking terms. An appointment request is not confirmed until it has been accepted by Relaxation Realm and you receive confirmation from Relaxation Realm or Square Appointments.
